Credits: 3 Instruction Method: ONHY
Status: OPEN
Students work on projects and assignments that either directly support or relate to those occurring in both GRT-601 Transportation Graduate Studio I and GRT-605 Digital Visual Communication I. This is to reinforce the learning outcomes across all three courses as well as to maximize project outcomes for student portfolios. This course reviews basic fundamentals and advanced tools and techniques for analytical drawing and rendering of a variety thematic expressions across a range of vehicle exterior designs. At the end of this course, students will have developed the ability to deconstruct complex formal compositions into primary structural elements. And thus, be able to draw and render clear and communicative 2D depictions of observed and imagined vehicle exterior designs at a professional level of craft and artistry. Additionally, this course will introduce the process of professional documentation and presentation of creative work throughout its development and for its final display.
