In this course students from Transportation Design and Entertainment Arts will work together in conjunction with the sponsor company, Unity, to produce a viable vehicle configurator utilizing a vehicle designed and produced by Transportation Design students and realistic high quality “game ready” environments developed by Entertainment Arts students, that will be combined into one vehicle configurator. Students will design vehicles and environments for the year 2030. The end product will potentially be utilized by Unity in a variety of promotional activities and applications. Teams of CCS students from Transportation Design and Entertainment Arts will be organized into teams comprised of one Transportation student and two Entertainment Arts students that will work to develop a vehicle and an appropriate environment with will tell the story of transportation in the year 2030. Every team will design one vehicle and one environment. The environments will include three times of day, for example, morning, noon, and night. The environments will also be designed in a way that will allow for interactivity or animated elements to exist appropriately within the design.
