THE SPOT ILLUSTRATION
“In this course, students explore the creation and use of illustration narrative for reproduction, print and digital, in small size format. Shorter time constraints will also be applied. Students will work from existing copy from a number of publications and sources to develop concise, effective narrative spot illustrations for use in print as well as digital end formats. Single spots, as well as spot series will be explored. In addition, a quickened path from idea to finished illustration will be implemented. All finished illustration work will be combined and presented as a PDF document at end of course”
