Maya Checklist
Relative Paths
All textures, references, caches, or external files must use relative paths (relative to your Maya project).
Use the File Path Editor to edit these easily.
Paths should begin with: ../

Render Globals
Set all render settings properly inside the Maya file.
The render farm will use these settings as-is.
Make sure your output directory is relative (this is the default).

Create a folder on the R:\ drive with your username.
Copy your entire Maya project to this folder.
This is your sandbox—organize and manage it as you like.
All files must be copied to the R:\ drive.

Open CCS Render Farm (via Start Menu)

Click Submit Job

Fill out the submission form:

Render Job Management
Your job will appear in the UI with its current status.

While running, the Frames panel shows progress for each frame.

When complete (or failed), the job status updates and you’ll get an email notification.

Using Actions
Pause | Resume | Retry | Delete jobs as needed.

Double-Click Actions
Job: Opens the output directory (for Blender, it opens the folder containing the .blend file).
Frame: Opens the render log (check this first if a frame fails).
Important
Copy finished renders to your SSD immediately.
Do NOT rely on the R:\ drive for long-term storage.
