This course is for beginning students or students,taking ceramics as an elective. Forming techniques,include working with coils, slabs and extrusions.,Approaches to different glazing and firing methors,are also explored. The course provides an overview,of a vast range of techniques put into the context,of ceramics art history globally, while addressing,the concerns facing ceramic artists today.
