  • FAB-354 FASHION ENTREPRENEURSHIP

    Fashion Entrepreneurship is a dynamic course,designed to empower students to launch and,grow fashion-related ventures. Through a,combination of theoretical study and practical,application, students will explore the,entrepreneurial mindset, develop business acumen,,and cultivate the skills necessary to succeed as,fashion entrepreneurs. By the end of the course,,students will possess the knowledge, skills, and,confidence to launch and grow fashion-,related ventures, whether as entrepreneurs,,innovators within existing organizations, or,leaders in related fields.

    Fashion Retail Management and Innovation is an,advanced course designed to prepare,students for leadership roles in the fashion,retail sector. Through a combination of,theoretical study and practical application,,students will explore the strategic management,principles and innovative practices necessary for,success in fashion retail. By the end of the,course, students will possess the knowledge and,skills to lead and innovate within the fast-,paced and dynamic environment of fashion retail,,preparing them for careers in retail management,,merchandising, and store operations.

  • FAB-402 FASHION THESIS STUDIO (CAPSTONE)

    Fashion Thesis Studio (Capstone) is the,culminating experience of the fashion program,,providing students with the opportunity to,integrate and apply their knowledge and skills in,a comprehensive thesis project. Under the guidance,of faculty mentors, students will,conceptualize, develop, and execute a,research-based thesis project that demonstrates,their,mastery of key concepts and competencies within,the field of fashion. By the end of the,course, students will have completed a,comprehensive thesis project that showcases their,mastery of key concepts and competencies within,the field of fashion, preparing them for,successful careers and further academic pursuits.

  • FAB-475 FASHION INDUSTRY IMMERSION INTERNSHIP

    Fashion Industry Immersion offers students the,opportunity to gain hands-on experience and,invaluable insights into the inner workings of the,fashion industry through immersive,internship placements (with selected local,,national and international companies). This,course integrates practical experiential learning,with academic reflection, allowing students,to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world,professional settings.

  • FAD-101 FASHION FUNDAMENTALS: APPAREL

    This course introduces the technical skills,required for apparel construction. Students learn,essential techniques such as pattern drafting,,draping, and sewing. The course also includes,lectures and readings that highlight designers and,artists that approach garment making with a,distinctive artistic vision.

  • FAD-102 FASHION FUNDAMENTALS: ACCESSORIES

    In this course, students focus on the world of,accessories through design and making. Students,learn how to conduct culturally appropriate,creative research and how to translate those ideas,into bankable products. Students use the,information learned in class to create a full,design package consisting of mood, materials,,color, illustration and line drawings with,diversity consideration.

  • FAD-201 ACCESSORIES DESIGN I

    In this course students will learn basic methods,of designing and construction of small leather,goods. This involves pattern cutting, sewing,,canvas model construction and producing. The,student will learn how to translate ideas from a,two-dimensional sketch to a three-dimensional,product that could be a wallet, tech accessory,,or a makeup kit. The students will also be able,to learn through the use of materials how to use,various types of leather and other materials used,in smaller items. Students will be trained on,various industrial machines, as well as manual,techniques, to make the smaller goods.

  • FAD-201 PATTERN MAKING FOR ACCESSORIES

    In this course, students will learn the,fundamental methods of bag construction, including,pattern making, sewing, model development, and the,creation of a finished bag. They will develop the,ability to translate two-dimensional sketches into,three-dimensional prototypes and will receive,hands-on training with various industrial sewing,machines.
