Position: EA Lab Tech
Department: Entertainment ArtsSummary:
Work-study will provide support in EA lab spaces as needed during various lab high usage times. Lab times that will need support: 8:30am-11:15am on Tuesdays and Thursdays | 7:15pm-10:00pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are ideally looking for two students who are comfortable with Game Art and Advanced Computer Generated Environments subjects.
Duties and Responsibilities:Work-study will support students and faculty using the lab spaces and 3D software, especially heavy with assisting in troubleshooting. The student must be able to work effectively with a diverse student and faculty population, with strong interpersonal skills, patience, and knowledge of software. Student must have strong communication skills and excellent punctuality.
Qualifications:> Strong knowledge of 3D CG software, modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering tools.
> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
> MUST BE an Entertainment Arts Junior or Senior to apply
1. Must be registered for classes
2. Student Employment Authorization to Hire form.
3. Must have completed DMA 217 and DMA 234 with a C or better passing grade
4. Ability to work effectively with a diverse student and faculty population
