Position: Fashion Design Work Study
Department: Fashion DesignSummary:
The Fashion Design Department Work Study position is responsible for assisting the Chair, Faculty, Studio Manager or Program Manager with various duties within the department focused on supporting student needs. On average, work study students will be scheduled approximately 3-5 hours per week during the fall and winter semester.
Duties and Responsibilities:May include:
Assist Faculty and Department Chair and staff with various projects
Assist with organization, set up and tear down of exhibits
Maintenance of studio and equipment
Perform additional duties as assigned, including clerical support tasks
Proficient in use of machinery in Fashion Design Department
Ability to perform basic technical troubleshooting and problem solving
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Must be self-motivated, punctual and reliable
Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
Student is a Fashion Design major and registered for classes Fall 2026 and Winter 2027
Must be eligible through Financial Aid
Available to work September 1 through May 15
Student Employment Authorization-to-Hire & HR Tax Forms must be completed prior to starting position
