Position: Interior Design Work Study
Department: Interior DesignSummary:
The Interior Design Department Work Study position is responsible for assisting the Chair, Faculty or Program Manager with various duties within the department focused on supporting student needs. Schedule is flexible and on an as needed basis. On average, work study students will be scheduled approximately 3-5 hours per week during the fall and winter semester.
Duties and Responsibilities:May include:
Assist Faculty and Department Chair and staff with various projects
Assist with organization, set up and tear down of exhibits
Perform additional duties as assigned, including clerical support tasks
Create promotional materials such as flyers for events and meetings
Update social media with content pertinent to the department
Organize and maintain the material and sample room
Proficient in use of equipment in Interior Design Department
Ability to perform basic technical troubleshooting and problem solving
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Must be self-motivated, punctual and reliable
Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks at the same time
Student is an Interior Design major and registered for classes Fall 2026 and Winter 2027
Must be eligible through Financial Aid
Maintain a grade point average of 3.00 or above
Available to work September 1 through May 15
Student Employment Authorization-to-Hire & HR Tax Forms must be completed prior to starting position
