Position: Admissions Marketing Ambassador

Do you love telling stories and promoting the CCS experience? The CCS Office of Admissions is looking for a creative, organized and outgoing student to help us reach the next generation of artists and designers. This hybrid position combines digital content creation, producing vlogs and social media assets, with essential administrative support for the Admissions marketing and events goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:Working directly with the Assistant Director of Marketing, Communications and Events, you will support the Admissions Office in:
• Content Creation and Social Media Support: Collaborate with the team to film, edit and produce short-form vlogs and multimedia content for the Admissions Vlog and social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
• Storytelling: Film interviews with students, faculty and staff to capture the authentic CCS experience and answer prospective student questions.
• Marketing Analytics: Assist the Assistant Director in tracking the performance of some digital assets by gathering engagement metrics (such as views and interactions). You will contribute to discussions on current trends and which content most effectively captures student attention online.
• Administrative Support: Assist with office tasks as assigned to support the Admissions Marketing, Communications and Events daily outreach goals. With guidance, you’ll be responsible for copying existing email campaigns, organizing contact lists for specific groups, keeping our digital files tidy within the email platform, along with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Must be a self-motivated, outgoing, and reliable individual with an interest in positively impacting the prospective student experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be comfortable approaching and talking with new people.
Strong interest in social media marketing and writing. Proven experience posting on social media is a major plus.
Experience with photo and video editing software (e.g., Instagram Edits, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.). Graphic design experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to take instructions and ask clarifying questions if a task isn’t clear.
Ability to navigate digital dashboards and filing systems; training and ongoing support will be provided.
Graphic design experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work 10-20 hours per week in person in the Admissions Office and across the CCS campus.
Must meet weekly with the Assistant Director of Marketing, Communications and Events.
Required to work each Open House on Saturdays, along with attending other on-campus events as needed.
Juniors and Seniors are preferred.
