Position: Office Work Study
Department: Communication DesignSummary:
The CDS office work-study student assists the Program Manager with daily departmental operations and supports the needs of the student body.
Duties and Responsibilities:1.) Create visual materials, including signs, posters, and digital displays.
2.) Compile and edit departmental motion reels using existing student work for promotional use.
3.) Assemble and organize printed materials for departmental information sessions and events.
4.) Assist the Program Manager in tracking, organizing, and managing all technical equipment.
5.) Assist the Program Manager in the routine maintenance of all cutting and binding machinery.
6.) General Support: Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
1.) Must be eligible for Work-Study through Financial Aid
2.) Sophomore or Junior status preferred; successful completion of CDS124 and CDS224 is highly desirable.
3.) Technical proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premiere, After Effects, or Photoshop) and the ability to perform basic technical troubleshooting.
4.) Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse student population.
5.) Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and demonstrate a consistent record of punctuality and reliability.
1.) Must be registered for classes in the 2026-2027 academic year.
2.) Student Employment Authorization to Hire form.
3.) Must be able to work from August 24 through May 13 to aid in the Student Exhibition set up.
