Position: CTW Peer Tutors for Winter + Fall 2026
Department: Center for Tutoring and WritingSummary:
Undergraduate Juniors and Seniors work as Peer Tutors, assisting current CCS students with coursework, academic & creative skills, as well as navigating college life.
We are interviewing now for Winter26 + Fall26.
**Preference is for candidates who are current Juniors or rising Juniors**
Tutoring students in software, traditional media, and liberal arts
Assisting students in understanding assignments
Demonstrating techniques and processes
Promoting and representing the CTW during outreach events, workshops, visiting classes, and within departments
Greeting and assisting all visitors to the CTW
Helping students with factors that affect academic performance such as productivity, study skills, focus, goal setting, etc.
Provide a high level of customer service
Creating promotional materials
Assisting with additional duties as needed or arise
Completed 2 years at CCS
Minimum 3.5 GPA (a lower GPA may be considered if you have high academic standing in your major)
Must have excellent grades in major
Responsible, reliable and punctual
Trustworthy to work unsupervised at times
Excellent interpersonal skills including patience and the ability to listen, demonstrate, and guide
Proactive
Able to provide a high level of customer service
Must be registered for at least 6 credits at CCS and have a strong academic standing (3.5+ GPA preferred)
Preference is for candidates who have completed 2 years of study at CCS
Available to work a minimum of 4 hours per week
