Position: Fashion Design Work Study
Department: Fashion DesignSummary:
The Fashion Accessories Design Department Work Study position is responsible for assisting the Chair, Faculty, Studio Technician or Program Manager with various duties within the department focused on supporting student needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:May include:
Assist Faculty during class time
Assist Department Chair with various projects
Assist with organization, set up and tear down of exhibits
Maintenance of studio and equipment
Perform additional duties as assigned, including clerical support tasks
Proficient in use of machinery in Fashion Accessories Design Department
Ability to perform basic technical troubleshooting and problem solving
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Must be self-motivated, punctual and reliable
Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks at the same time
Must be a registered student for classes Fall 2024 and Winter 2025
Must be eligible through Financial Aid
Available to work September 3 through May 16
Student Employment Authorization-to-Hire & HR Tax Forms must be completed prior to starting position
Flexible schedule and will mainly be on an as needed basis throughout the semester
