DPL-331 PHILOSOPHY OF ART

An understanding of the philosophical questions,raised by art can elevate creative practice and,cast new light on our understanding of made,objects. Students consider some of the great,philosophical questions and theories of art, and,engage in thought-provoking discussions of beauty,,as well as art’s nature, purpose, significance,,and meaning.

Prerequisites: WRT-102 and any 200 level Liberal Arts (General Education),subject.
