DCE-206 ARCHITECTURAL CERAMICS

This course emphasizes ceramic design techniques,for wall installations and mounting methods,,with a special focus on bas relief, carving,techniques,surface design, printing on ceramics,,and tile,making. Students will research and apply practices,related to ceramic tiles, murals, and,architectural,embellishments commonly found in public spaces.,They will explore modular layouts, integrate,design,elements into their work, and refine their,techniques in creating and firing ceramic pieces.,By mastering,both surface treatments and installation methods,,students will develop the skills necessary to,create,impactful ceramic pieces for a variety of,environments.
