Intermedia practice entails the convergence of,technological and multimedia exploration across a,range of hardware outputs and installation types.,This course critically challenges students to,research and develop one major (or multiple,smaller) project/s, experimenting with technical,toolsets in video, animation, 3D modeling,,interactive design as well as other,virtual/digital production techniques. The course,build’s on the concepts addressed in the GIDXXX,Multimedia Communication course. As part of their,intermedia practice, students employ the core,multimedia principles of Discovery, Ingesting,,Digesting, Manipulation, and Exposing. Through,research and technical application students will,self direct the conceptualization and production,or multimedia projects.
