,3D DESIGN FOR MOLD ,,

,In this course students will learn to utilize 3D,design processes including 3D modeling, 3D,printing, laser cutting, and CNC milling for mold,making. Mold making processes will include but are,not limited to open face molds for high and low,temperature materials, 2 part and multi-part,molds, rubber molds, glove molds, castable resin,3D printing for investment casting, laser cutting,stackable molds, CNC milling direct molds. Other,topics covered will include surface smoothing and,finishing of 3D prints, material compatibilities,,burnout processes, and experimental casting.
