Description of Change
Update to language to add clarification and to refine language about 1 semester to complete:
(i.e. Incompletes assigned for the fall semester must be completed by the end of winter semester; Incompletes assigned for the winter semester must be completed by the end of summer semester; Incompletes assigned for the Summer semester must be completed by the end of fall semester. See also Campus and Facility Access section below.)
Policy Statement
– see attached revisions to existing policy, some changes/edits discussed/reviewed/confirmed prior w/Academic Affairs. Submitting for final confirmation and update to policy database.
Reason for Policy
Reason for policy changes support use of grading more beneficial to student progress (exp. current policy reverts to F grades, change would revert to grade earned, if applicable); change in form submissions and grading process should eliminate processing records without documentation to support the request (eliminate missing approval forms).
