Equitable Access to Technology Laptop Loan Program

The Equitable Access to Technology Laptop Loan Program policy is designed to be a resource for CCS students experiencing documented financial hardship toward the production of school projects via laptop while enrolled at CCS. Students who qualify are selected based on financial aid records and/or a detailed document explaining the reason for the financial hardship. Applications for the Laptop Loan Program will be taken on a first come first serve basis as the supply is limited.

To apply for the Equitable Access to Technology Laptop Loan Program, students must request the Equitable Access to Technology Laptop Loan Program form by emailing diversity@collegeforcreativestudies.edu. After verification of financial hardship students will submit the laptop loan application for approval from the Chief Diversity Officer. Once the laptop loan application is approved, students present the signed form to the AVS Director at the Taubman AVC Office to receive the laptop. The laptop is loaned for one academic year at a time and must be returned at the end of the winter semester, when a student graduates, or when a student leaves the institution. Applications for this program will be reviewed annually by the Office for Institutional Equity and Inclusion as well as Financial Aid to verify the student still meets the qualifying criteria. Laptops are subject to availability and available to all enrolled students.  Full-time students are prioritized.
