Supervisor Evaluation – Vince Carducci

It is the College’s goal to annually evaluate the performance of each employee. The purpose of the evaluation process is to provide an opportunity for the supervisor and employee to review the prior year’s work performance. This process should include conversations related to the strengths and weaknesses in your employee’s performance, the development of future objectives, and your support and encouragement in assisting them to reach their full potential. The evaluation process helps to promote better communication between you and your employee, allows your employee input, and enables attention to be focused on job performance standards.  As you communicate the performance appraisal, your employee needs to understand performance expectations and your employee should be provided the opportunity to respond and discuss any issues that may arise.  Feedback concerning job satisfaction, career goals, and position responsibility are encouraged during the appraisal and throughout the year.

Goals

    1. Increase Retention: Schedule and promote Lunch Clinics, Foundation TED talks, Foundation Forum and/or Student Events
    1. Organize department juries and manage artwork submissions for the SEO.

    1. Create a more efficient prop room for faculty

Accomplishments

    1. I effectively manage daily operations of one of the largest departments in the college. I assisted in hiring 10 adjuncts&managed scheduling of 48 faculty/85 sections-FA18 & 35 faculty/58 sections-WI19
    1. To help increase student retention, I scheduled and promoted 41 Lunch Clinics; 8 TED Talks; 1 Foundation Forum with Hubert Massey (FA18) and a Student Night at MOCAD (WI19)
    1. Managed the organization of two juries and effectively communicated the SEO preparation process to students; labeled, packed and organized work by discipline to increase efficiency in hanging the show
    1. I continue to make significant improvements in the organization & management of student work. I created an efficient system for artwork pick-up/disposal & organized project samples to assist faculty.
