Supervisor Evaluation – Greg Fraser

It is the College’s goal to annually evaluate the performance of each employee. The purpose of the evaluation process is to provide an opportunity for the supervisor and employee to review the prior year’s work performance. This process should include conversations related to the strengths and weaknesses in your employee’s performance, the development of future objectives, and your support and encouragement in assisting them to reach their full potential. The evaluation process helps to promote better communication between you and your employee, allows your employee input, and enables attention to be focused on job performance standards.  As you communicate the performance appraisal, your employee needs to understand performance expectations and your employee should be provided the opportunity to respond and discuss any issues that may arise.  Feedback concerning job satisfaction, career goals, and position responsibility are encouraged during the appraisal and throughout the year.

Quality of WorkSTRENGTH (4)

I believe my quality of work is that of a strong one. I am professional when speaking with students, parents, staff and faculty alike. I have a strong work ethic and I don’t believe there is anyone that has contact with me that would say anything negative about my positive attitude.

DependabilitySTRENGTH (4)

I am dependable when meeting deadlines (bill paying, providing/relaying information when requested), etc. I use all means possibly to convey information to the proper people and follow up to ensure the situation has been fully resolved. I’ve always felt this to be one of my strongest suits.

Job KnowledgeDEMONSTRATING (3)

I feel I am proficient as it pertains to my knowledge of my job and am gaining increasing experience as time elapses. I also rely on my co-workers expertise and often times combine that with what I know to ensure the best potential possible.

Interactive/Effective CommunicationLEADING (5)

Since I cannot change the field above, I would like to rate myself as a 4/5 in this area. I am often times the first point of contact for questions/guidance from students, parents and staff alike. I feel I have attained the capability to do this proficiently or know which direction to refer them.

Emotional IntelligenceSTRENGTH (4)

In having to deal with various personalities inherent with my position, I feel I juggle the various mindsets and attitudes of all that I deal with in a kind, friendly and accommodating manner. I feel my positive personality is one of my strongest traits.

I have a very communicative relationship with my co-workers. We are a cohesive team and working very well together. I always ask others if they require me to pick up or take anything to the other campus should I need to go there.

AgilitySTRENGTH (4)

I believe I demonstrate that I can change when deemed necessary. I feel I adapt well to situations that require me to transform when and where necessary.

Goals

    1. Enhance problem solving capability and technical knowledge with limited assistance from my co-workers.
    1. Continue to work on my reliability as it not only pertains to my co-workers but to the students, parents and staff as well.
    1. Continue to take the initiative to inquire after if anyone needs things picked up/brought back anything my co-workers (not just ITS) when travelinig between campuses to save them the trip.
    1. Continue to be knowledgeable and helpful when assisting staff, students and parents with questions or being able to direct them to the proper person or department.

Accomplishments

    1. Took initiative to coordinate and plan for a recycling company to come and pick up items the college could no longer utilize for safe, green disposal, free of charge.
    1. Cleaned up late fee issue with one of our vendors to ensure we weren’t charged fees for costs we did not incur. This saved the college from paying undue money and believe I’ve rectified this issue.
    1. I took the initiative to untangle at least 100 mice that were left in a bin and ensured their ends were neatly wrapped preventing further tangleing.
