Supervisor Evaluation – Frank Ravja

It is the College’s goal to annually evaluate the performance of each employee. The purpose of the evaluation process is to provide an opportunity for the supervisor and employee to review the prior year’s work performance. This process should include conversations related to the strengths and weaknesses in your employee’s performance, the development of future objectives, and your support and encouragement in assisting them to reach their full potential. The evaluation process helps to promote better communication between you and your employee, allows your employee input, and enables attention to be focused on job performance standards.  As you communicate the performance appraisal, your employee needs to understand performance expectations and your employee should be provided the opportunity to respond and discuss any issues that may arise.  Feedback concerning job satisfaction, career goals, and position responsibility are encouraged during the appraisal and throughout the year.

Quality of WorkLEADING (5)

I perform my work duties efficiently with processing and corresponding with students/families. I’m quite detail oriented and take care and pride in my strong ability and skills for processing as well as student service in working with families to make them feel valued/comfortable with info & options

DependabilitySTRENGTH (4)

I feel I am and hopefully come across to others as extremely trustworthy and reliable- performing my job in an honest and ethical manor.

Job KnowledgeSTRENGTH (4)

Besides knowing and do what my job responsibilities are I regularly read regulations, FSA handbook, electronic announcements, finaid listserves, and ongoing webinar training, etc.

Interactive/Effective CommunicationSTRENGTH (4)

I communicate in a timely manner w/ my director and co-worker as well as other offices when I come across something odd to find out if something is really an issue, anomaly, etc. I tend to ask questions when new info brought to me or process change to get better understanding. And open when asked.

Emotional IntelligenceSTRENGTH (4)

I always try to be mindful about how my actions, behavior and choices may effect or impact others around me in all aspects of my life. I think confrontation/conflict can be healthy when all parties involved are open to & have positive intentions to work through/move past…this doesn’t always work

Management AbilitySTRENGTH (4)

Not sure if this is applicable since I am not a manager, but do believe I have ability to handle many situations appropriately with students/families, and delegate to others if needed to continue function of office.
