Supervisor Evaluation – Elizabeth Klos

It is the College’s goal to annually evaluate the performance of each employee. The purpose of the evaluation process is to provide an opportunity for the supervisor and employee to review the prior year’s work performance. This process should include conversations related to the strengths and weaknesses in your employee’s performance, the development of future objectives, and your support and encouragement in assisting them to reach their full potential. The evaluation process helps to promote better communication between you and your employee, allows your employee input, and enables attention to be focused on job performance standards.  As you communicate the performance appraisal, your employee needs to understand performance expectations and your employee should be provided the opportunity to respond and discuss any issues that may arise.  Feedback concerning job satisfaction, career goals, and position responsibility are encouraged during the appraisal and throughout the year.

Score Comment
Quality of Work STRENGTH (4)

My work and professionalism over the last year have been above board. I think that I’ve demonstrated an increase in efficiency on the whole, and less required time needing direction and supervision. There is always room for improvement.

Dependability STRENGTH (4)

I aim to be available at all times for support to any, and all of our staff. In addition, I spend most of my time working to perform my duties on time and to the best of my ability.

Job Knowledge STRENGTH (4)

Through the years, I’ve come to understand better, what is required of me, as well as to adjust the work here at CCS to help improve efficiency and database usage.

Interactive/Effective Communication DEMONSTRATING (3)

I feel that communication is one of my strong points, however I’ve noticed that delegating work to others is something that I need to improve on. This I think is a form of communication.

Emotional Intelligence STRENGTH (4)

I like to consider myself very accommodating when it comes to interpersonal communication, as well as personal and professional relationships. However, I’m sure that I can always make adjustments to improve this area as well.

Management Ability LEARNING (2)

I’m not sure that this applies to me, however with my responsibility over work study students, I’ll mention that I feel that the work I provide to them, as well as how clearly it’s defined is consistent, and it’s been a good learning tool for my purposes with delegating and working with others.

Teamwork STRENGTH (4)

I continue to provide support to any and all of our team members here. I like to think that in a lot of cases, I’ve created partnerships on work and projects throughout the year.

Agility LEARNING (2)

I think that this is an area that of mine that needs improvement. I like to take total responsibility for my work and I have a tough time delegating to others. This would allow me to better respond to changes and additional work, and it’s something that I’m learning to improve on.
