Supervisor Evaluation – Carla Gonzalez

It is the College’s goal to annually evaluate the performance of each employee. The purpose of the evaluation process is to provide an opportunity for the supervisor and employee to review the prior year’s work performance. This process should include conversations related to the strengths and weaknesses in your employee’s performance, the development of future objectives, and your support and encouragement in assisting them to reach their full potential. The evaluation process helps to promote better communication between you and your employee, allows your employee input, and enables attention to be focused on job performance standards.  As you communicate the performance appraisal, your employee needs to understand performance expectations and your employee should be provided the opportunity to respond and discuss any issues that may arise.  Feedback concerning job satisfaction, career goals, and position responsibility are encouraged during the appraisal and throughout the year.

Score Comment
Quality of WorkLEADING (5)

I work well independently on projects. I gather information needed for requests, I create processes that best fit the needs. I research anything I do not already know, and I build or update. Often, I disseminate that information to our staff, create training material and then train the staff.

DependabilitySTRENGTH (4)

I am extremely reliable and trustworthy. My downfall is that I still have so much on my plate that it can be a challenge to complete everything on my list in a timely manner.

Job KnowledgeLEADING (5)

On top of maintaining my regular responsibilities, I am constantly learning new aspects of the software available to us in Admissions, updating existing processes, and building the tools available to enable our staff to be more productive and efficient in their positions.

Interactive/Effective CommunicationLEADING (5)

I work in collaboration with many members from the Enrollment Student Service offices as well as our IT department. I lead our weekly data touch base meetings where we establish the needs of Admissions and sometimes other ESS offices, we review goals/deadlines and present progress on projects.

Emotional IntelligenceLEADING (5)

I am very level-headed and logical in my position. Sometimes I mediate heated debates, create compromise or develop solutions to serve the greater good.

Management AbilitySTRENGTH (4)

I supervise the new CRM System Support position. I establish expectations, deadlines and the appropriate training material for the position as it is needed. I want to create more thorough documentation on our CRM database and it’s relationship to our Colleague database to be used as a guide.

TeamworkLEADING (5)

Daily, I work harmoniously in collaboration with members from my office, other Enrollment Student Service offices as well as our IT department.

AgilityLEADING (5)

I am very flexible in adapting to change. I will not hesitate to redevelop projects when requirements change. For example, the new Hold Accept process that we developed for international applicants and the many times that process evolved.

Goals

    1. Continue to train the new CRM System Support position enough to build in time for more frequent CRM system updates, and more frequent monitoring of data between the systems that we use.
    1. Create more thorough documentation on our CRM database and its relationship to our Colleague student database.
    1. Clean up, organize and oversee the MFA data within the CRM and Colleague. Support their recruitment efforts with the software we have available.
    1. Begin integration of PreCollege data and processes into the CRM. While doing so, clean up an organize their data, streamline processes, and help structure a more cohesive communication plan in the CRM

Accomplishments

    1. Although we are not 100% complete, I Integrated MFA data into the CRM, set up relevant automation and worked with the MFA and BFA Admissions Directors to adapt the internal MFA admissions process.
    1. I believe the CRM tools, countless reports and dashboards, updated/new processes I created for our staff contributed to this year’s successful recruitment efforts.
    1. I lead/navigated the coordination/translation of data sent to our consultant company.
    1. I used to always be tardy turning in my time sheets. I am never late now that we have moved to the Time Clock Plus tool!

Comments
