Supervisor Evaluation – Amy Armand

It is the College’s goal to annually evaluate the performance of each employee. The purpose of the evaluation process is to provide an opportunity for the supervisor and employee to review the prior year’s work performance. This process should include conversations related to the strengths and weaknesses in your employee’s performance, the development of future objectives, and your support and encouragement in assisting them to reach their full potential. The evaluation process helps to promote better communication between you and your employee, allows your employee input, and enables attention to be focused on job performance standards.  As you communicate the performance appraisal, your employee needs to understand performance expectations and your employee should be provided the opportunity to respond and discuss any issues that may arise.  Feedback concerning job satisfaction, career goals, and position responsibility are encouraged during the appraisal and throughout the year.

TeamworkLEADING (5)

I would say that I am a leading cheerleader on our first floor. Encouraging the counselors to participate in art shows and engage in alumni and potential art students activities as a community of active artists. I also seek out HS Art Educators to ask for assistance in recruiting their students.

AgilitySTRENGTH (4)

After being in the position as an admissions employee for almost 25 years, there has been a plethora of changes that I have had to adjust too while meeting my goals for recruitment. Each change has worked on making it easier to communicate with our applicants.

Goals

    1. I worked on getting better with response time with applicants this season, it’s been really easy with platforms from communications with Target X and my digital devices. .
    1. I have learned the new system of Target-X and it’s made it easier to meet the goals for this recruitment season
    1. Working slower to make less mistakes is best for me and meeting weekly to know from my Director what the priority should be is best for me.
    1. I have also worked more with PCSE to create a bond early with potential applicants while they are learning here on our campus

Accomplishments

    1. I was able to invite several alumni from local schools to accompany me back to their school as a ‘witness’ to the experience of CCS and afterward success.
    1. I was invited to participate in painting 4 public murals in the community and also painted my third mural in DPS while mentoring HS art students..
    1. I worked with friends and family in FL, DC area and GA to stay under budget while recruiting
    1. I am constaly meeting with Alumni and current students over holiday breaks to ask if there was one thing they wished I did better so I can improve on my procedures and make a greater impact.

Comments

Our weekly meetings have been amazing, they have helped me focus on important priority task and allowed me to know what is needed to help with meeting our goals for the year.
