Supervisor Evaluation – Amy Armand

It is the College’s goal to annually evaluate the performance of each employee. The purpose of the evaluation process is to provide an opportunity for the supervisor and employee to review the prior year’s work performance. This process should include conversations related to the strengths and weaknesses in your employee’s performance, the development of future objectives, and your support and encouragement in assisting them to reach their full potential. The evaluation process helps to promote better communication between you and your employee, allows your employee input, and enables attention to be focused on job performance standards.  As you communicate the performance appraisal, your employee needs to understand performance expectations and your employee should be provided the opportunity to respond and discuss any issues that may arise.  Feedback concerning job satisfaction, career goals, and position responsibility are encouraged during the appraisal and throughout the year.

Quality of WorkSTRENGTH (4)

I believe my job performance this year has consistently been of good quality.

DependabilitySTRENGTH (4)

I feel this is a true strength for me. This past year, I believe I have been reliable and available for all that has been asked of me.

Job KnowledgeDEMONSTRATING (3)

I feel as if I know my job and its requirements very well. But I also feel as if I could do better at learning and utilizing some for the newer aspects of the profession, especially where technology is concerned.

Interactive/Effective CommunicationDEMONSTRATING (3)

On one hand, I feel as if my communication skills are excellent, especially face to face with all parties. But I do feel as if I could improve my use of social media specifically to communicate even better with students and their families.

Emotional IntelligenceSTRENGTH (4)
Management AbilityDEMONSTRATING (3)

I don’t believe this section is applicable as I do not supervise any employees. I was not able to leave it blank, so I selected 3 to be ‘neutral.’

TeamworkSTRENGTH (4)

I feel as if I work very well with our team. But I also feel I could do more “to encourage and compliment team members.” Sometimes I do not ‘reply all’ as others do because I feel like it is too much email.

AgilitySTRENGTH (4)

I feel as if I have always done this, throughout my professional career.

Comments

Help identify ways that I can improve in my position. After many years in this industry, I fear becoming complacent and not growing professionally.
