The page provides a step-by-step guide on how to view participant reports from Zoom meetings, either directly through the Zoom interface or via a Canvas course. Users can access detailed reports of participants’ activity, including login duration, and export the data as a CSV file for further analysis. The instructions cover meetings scheduled both within Canvas and independently.

Viewing Participants at a Later Time

If you would like to view the participants from your Zoom meeting at a later time, follow these steps:

  1. From the CCS Access Manager, click on the Zoom button.
  2. Click on the Login link at the top right corner of the screen, and sign in with your login credentials.
  3. On the left side of the Zoom interface, select Reports.
  4. Under the Usage Reports tab, select Meeting and webinar history.

  1. On the Meeting and webinar history page, a list of previous meetings will show that ended at least 15 minutes prior. Use the date selection tools, the drop-down lists, and/or the Search by topic or ID textbox to find specific meetings. Click the Search button to perform the search. To export this data, click on the Export button, and select one of the provided options.
    • Optional: Click on the ⚙️ cog wheel (gear) icon on the far right-hand side of the screen to display a Column management slide-out menu. Select the columns you do or do not want displayed on the screen, and click the Apply button.

  1. Under the Participants column, click the number listed. A Participants window will appear similar to the image shown below. Each row contains a participant’s activity in your Zoom meeting. The Duration (Minutes) column shows how many minutes the individual was logged in to your Zoom meeting. To export this data, click on the Export button.
    • Optional: Place a checkmark in the Export with meeting data checkbox prior to clicking the Export button.

Zoom Report via Canvas

You may be able to access a similar report for your Zoom meeting(s) via your Canvas course(s).

  1. In Course Navigation, click the Zoom link.
  2. Select the Previous Meetings tab to view past meetings scheduled for this course.
  3. Select the Report link in any row to view a report for a given meeting.

Accessing Reports for Your Other Zoom Meetings via Canvas

You can access reports for all previous meetings (including those that you did not schedule via the Canvas/Zoom integration) from this screen, without needing to switch courses.

  1. In Course Navigation, click the Zoom link.
  2. Select the All My Zoom Meetings/Recordings link.

  1. Select the Previous Meetings tab. You should now see all your Zoom Meetings/Recordings.
  2. Select the Report link in any row to view a report for a given meeting.
