• Design intuitive navigation structures that enhance student interaction (embedded quizzes)
• Apply visual design principles to support learning objectives (template overview and other pages)

Equitable Learning Through Accessibility: Making Courses Accessible For All (February 20, 2024)

This workshop discussed the importance of accessible course content for all students.

• Introducing web accessibility
• Discovering POUR (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust)

Leveraging Canvas Studio for Interactive Videos (March 19, 2024)

This workshop focused on creating interaction and engagement in your course videos hosted on Canvas Studio.

Developing Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) for Better Student Outcomes (October 12, 2023)

This workshop discussed how to develop clear, measurable, and attainable course learning outcomes that align with course assignments and projects, with student success in mind.

Saving Time with Rubrics Interactive Workshop (November 16, 2023)

This workshop helped faculty discover how to craft student-friendly rubrics that not only empower learners but also streamline their grading process.

• Identifying skills that students should attain
• Identifying criteria for a rubric
• Defining performance levels on the rubric
• Describing performance levels for each criterion

Creating Community Using Peer Review Interactive Workshop (February 10, 2023)

This workshop discussed the benefits of integrating peer review into the classroom. Faculty were also shown how to use Peer Review settings in Canvas Assignments that allow for features like anonymous reviews, rubrics, and more.
