Workshop & Training Sessions
Workshop and training sessions are provided by the Ed Tech team a few times each semester. Faculty and Staff are welcome to participate in any upcoming sessions. Sessions generally last about one hour and are interactive; providing demonstrations and time for questions.

This workshop was held on March 19, 2024 and focused on creating interaction and engagement in your course videos hosted on Canvas Studio.

Saving Time with Rubrics Interactive Workshop
This workshop was held on November 16, 2023 and helped faculty discover how to craft student-friendly rubrics that not only empower learners but also streamline their grading process.

Creating Community Using Peer Review Interactive Workshop
This workshop was held on February 10, 2023 and discussed the benefits of integrating peer review into the classroom. Faculty were also shown how to use Peer Review settings in Canvas Assignments that allow for features like anonymous reviews, rubrics, and more.

Saving Time With Rubrics: How To Grade Smarter, Not Harder Interactive Workshop
This workshop was held on November 16, 2022 and walked faculty through the rubric development process, and how to add rubrics to assignments in their Canvas course for proper grading and substantive feedback for students.
