Cidi Labs is a software company that creates powerful add-on tools specifically for the Canvas LMS. Its products are designed to help instructors and course designers save time and more easily create high-quality, accessible, and visually engaging courses without needing to know HTML or code.

Their most popular tool, DesignPLUS, adds a “sidebar” editor to Canvas, allowing for advanced styling and the use of templates. Other tools include UDOIT (an accessibility checker) and TidyUP (a tool for cleaning up old and unused course files).

At the College for Creative Studies, we use DesignPLUS and the UDOIT accessibility checker. Instead of TidyUP, instructors can use the Clean Up tool available within Simple Prep.
