Remove an Activity from the Modules Page

  1. On the Modules page, find the desired activity (Assignment, Discussion, etc.).
  2. To the right of the activity, click the Options (three vertical dots) icon.
  3. Select Remove.

Note: Removing an activity from the Modules page does not completely delete it from your Canvas course. It will still remain on your Pages, Discussions, Quizzes, or Assignments index page. In some cases, you will want to delete the full activity (e.g. in order to remove an assignment from the Simple Syllabus).

Delete an Activity from the Canvas Course

  1. In the left-hand course navigation menu, find and click into the category for the item you want to delete (Pages, Discussions, Quizzes, Assignments).
  2. To the right of the desired item, click the Options (three vertical dots) icon.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. In the pop-up that appears, press OK to confirm the deletion of the activity.

This will delete the item from your course and also remove it from your Modules index page.
