The following outlines how you can build a strong CCS Canvas course for both in-person and online courses.

Build Your Canvas Course (Full Overview)

1. On the Modules page, click into the desired module.
2. Click the ➕ Add Item icon to the right of the module. 
3. Select the item you would like to add (Assignment, Quiz, File, Page, Discussion).
4. Click [ Create [Item] ].
5. Add the requested details (Name, File location, Indent). 
6. Click the Add Item button,  
7. Once added, click on the item to make edits. 
8. Once your Canvas course is built and all assignments are added, move on to Editing and Submitting your Simple Syllabus.
