ADRW-140 PAINTING THE HUMAN FIGURE

Working from a nude model,students will explore,painting techniques that will enable them to,better understand and paint the human figure.,Emphasis will be placed on design, color and light,variations. Students younger than 18 must have,parental permission to take this course. Bring a,sketchbook, canvas pad and pencil to the first,class. Materials will be discussed and a supply,list will be handed out at that time.

AGRC-240 NARRATIVE ILLUSTRATION

This intensive course that explores the power of,self-generated subject matter as content for,narrative imagery. In class development of,individual processes such as ideation, research,development, and execution of solid drawing will,explored using the artist’s medium of choice. The,expected outcome is actualized portfolio-worthy,work. Prior drawing experience is recommended.,Bring drawing pad and pencil to first class.

AVIS-006 PEWABIC POTTERY: OPEN STUDIO

While in enrolled in a current CCS ceramics course,students are able to work in the Pewabic Pottery ,Adult Education Studio during Open Studio hours.,Work made at the at the pottery will be bisqued ,and then taken to CCS for glazing and firing. ,Clay used at the pottery must be purchased from ,Pewabic Pottery.
