The Last Society Conference 2022 is a collegial,congregation of like minded shoe making,enthusiasts located in the heart of Detroit,,Michigan.,,Conference 2022 is intended to showcase Detroit’s,shoe culture and bring to light the dedicated,people living and working here. We have been under,the radar too long, with this event we are making,the effort to stake our claim in the field of Shoe,Design, Education, and Making. The goal is to,bring people together around the love of all,things Shoes, see the Fashion Department at CCS,,and experience Detroit in Springtime!

Beginning and advanced artists will from learn,the basics of preparing images in photoshop® to,be printed on DASS transfer photo film. Students,will then learn how to transfer their images onto,non-traditional substrates such as glass, metal,,or fabric; exploring different possibilities of,hand printing an image.

Fantasy, Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism,explore the landscapes of the mind in this course,,which teaches traditional painting techniques,while developing each student’s individual style,and concepts. Prior drawing or painting experience,is helpful. Bring a sketchbook and pencil to the,first class. A materials list will be handed out,at that time.
