AYTH-019 DRAWING AND PAINTING

Students are introduced to a variety of drawing,and painting materials. Various art elements and,principles are explored. Self-expression and,experimentation are encouraged, as well as,structure and indvidual development. Students,are exposed to art history and its relationship,to drawing and painting. Sketching field trips,to the Detroit Institute of Arts will inspire ,students and expand their opportunities to make,art.

Anything is possible in the world of cartoons., Invent your own characters and put them in, hilarious situations with action and dialogue., Students will read and analyze classic animated, scripts like Sponge Bob SquarePants® and Toy, Story®, and learn to write their own script for, animation.
