Detroit Documentary Film Capture the excitement of, Detroit’s rebirth in a video documentary., Students will travel on location shooting footage, of the people and places of Detroit and edit a, video essay of their experiences. Students will, learn to shoot digital film, edit with Adobe, Premiere Pro® and mix sound to picture., Parent/Guardian permission required to shoot on, location in Detroit. AVIS-290 COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY

Using color negatives from students made,previously or currently, the student will learn,to make high-quality color prints. Color,enlargers and color chemistry will be available,for use. Students will work on individualized,projects, concentrating on their particular,interest in photography. Students will learn the,fun- damentals of color printing; high-quality,and basic technique will be stressed but not,without allowing a creative exploration of the,medium. this class will meet for 12,weeks-September 9 to November 25.

AVIS-289 DIGITAL MUSIC VIDEO PRODUCTION

Students wil gain hands-on experience as they, learn all aspects of the digital video production, process. From pre-production to editing, they, will explore planning, cameras, lighting, sound,, shot composition, and editing to create a, collaborative short music video. Bring an 8gb, USB drive to class.

This course, open to both beginning and advanced,students, teaches glassblowing techniques to,create vessels and sculptural forms. More,advanced students refine their skills and learn,more advanced techniques. Limted enrollement of,eight students per class.
