In this workshop students will learn the,process of creating one-of-a-kind baskets from,locally foraged grasses, leaves, flowers and,brambles. Students will use a variety of basketry,techniques as they work towards the creation of,their own baskets.

This class will go the creative distance. Explore,the art of high fashion from past to present and,design your own cutting-edge fashion piece. Move,through the processes of brainstorming, color and,material research, and design ideation, to design,a one-of-a-kind fashion. Emphasis will be on,identifying and using a variety of unusual and,unexpected materials. Students will have hands-on,instruction with cutting, measuring, and quick,pattern making techniques.
