Footwear design is one of the most exciting parts,of any fashion house. In this creative design,workshop, you will learn interesting historical,facts about shoes. You will also be given tools,on how to reach for your inner shoe designer and,how to express your creativity on paper. ,Previous knowledge or skills are not required,,but one thing is essential: the love of shoes.

APRP-105 GLASSBLOWING; LIGHT AND COLOR

During this one-day workshop students will learn,to work with the magical material of glass to,create colorful sculptures. Students will learn,basic techniques for solid sculpting glass and,applying transparent color. All pieces will be,ready for pick-up on Sunday, October 31.

AVIS-104 ENAMELED JEWELRY

Design and create enameled jewelry. Students will, learn diff-erent enameling techniques that result, in a glass coating on metal, creating beautiful, works of wear-able art. Students will also learn, fundamental jewelry making processes and, fabrication tech-niques. Limited to eight, students. No experience necessary.

Explore the ancient craft of blacksmithing, with a,focus on its historical and contemporary,relevance. Students will learn how to forge,ferrous metals and will create a small object,(such as a trivet) utilizing demonstrated,techniques. This course is held outdoors.,Enrollment limited to six students.
