Investigate the ancient art of felt making with,twenty-first century tools. Learn the techniques,used to make fabric by preparing layers of wool,and working them into felt. Learn to create 3D,objects such as slippers, hats and mittens as well,as 2D items such as scarves and floor covering.

Participants,will create a mood board, a visual tool used by,the fashion industry to express design concepts.,High school freshman, sophomores and juniors can,enter their mood board into the CCS Fashion Design,competition and be one of ten students to win a,three-week precollege summer experience fashion,design course.
