PCS-116 3D DESIGN TECHNIQUES: DUAL ENROLLMENT

This course is for high school students in Dual,Enrollment program. Course is cross-listed with,DFN 116, and uses same syllabus as required by,Foundations Dept. Taught by Foundations faculty,and students attend with college students.,,This course will familiarize the student with,basic construction and fabrication techniques of,the wood and metal shops at CCS. Through the,completion of a series of small projects,,students will be introduced to the majority of,tools and machines within the shops. Students,will also learn a wide variety of methods and,techniques needed to safely complete future,projects. Safety is the MOST essential function,of this course. Students will earn the,certification required for continued shop access,by receiving at minimum a grade of 2.0 / C in,this class.
