Description of Change
Policy Statement
Marketing and Communications is proposing some minor revisions to the Social Media Policy:
(1) Minor wording changes and clarifications for meaning
(2) Addition of a collaboration section which explains the policy regarding content collaboration
(3) Accessibility language regarding alt-text and closed captions
(4) Addition of doxing and misinformation/disinformation prohibitions
(5) Addition of a paid social media influencer provision
Reason for Policy
These are updates to ensure the policy is complete and protects the college’s social and digital footprint
