Policy Statement
CCS provides the opportunity for faculty to teach courses internationally at certain times in the academic year. Leading a Global Learning Experience (GLE) course is a unique opportunity to provide a high-impact, international learning experience for CCS students. The following policy outlines the pay structure, and travel details for teaching a GLE course.
Reason for Policy
The policy is in place to clearly state the expectations in terms of pay, and travel for faculty led study abroad courses at CCS. It also seeks to clarify some basic travel expectations in regards to financial implications for the faculty. The reason this is policy is created now is because there is a significant increase in requests for travel courses at CCS. For planning and budgeting purposes the ISSO needs this policy in place.
