Campus Safety provides\n24-hour security at both the Ford Campus and the Taubman Center. Three college administrative positions\n(Director, Assistant Director, Security Manager) are responsible for enforcing\nthe security policies and procedures, as well as directing and overseeing\nsecurity guard services. Other Security\npersonnel are employed by a contract guard agency that provides fixed and\nmobile security patrols, patrol supervisors and shuttle drivers supervised by\nCCS personnel. Services provided by\nCampus Safety include safety patrols, escort service to parked vehicles on\ncampus, auto lock out service, battery jump starts and tire inflation, and issuing\nand replacing access cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participation in new\nstudent orientation as well as periodic specialized training on topics such as\nactive shooter is provided in coordination with the Student Affairs Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Campus Safety also\nmaintains fifty-eight First Aid stations located throughout the campuses that\nprovide immediate accessible first aid supplies to injured persons. The department also has trained first medical\nresponders located on each campus. If\nimmediate medical attention or transportation is needed, Campus Safety will\ncontact the contracted ambulance company which will provide transport to a\nlocal medical facility.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
