{"id":272,"date":"2019-03-25T19:55:33","date_gmt":"2019-03-25T19:55:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/campus.collegeforcreativestudies.edu\/staff-handbook\/?p=272"},"modified":"2020-09-18T17:06:23","modified_gmt":"2020-09-18T17:06:23","slug":"part-time-administrative-staff-benefits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/campus.collegeforcreativestudies.edu\/staff-handbook\/part-time-administrative-staff-benefits\/","title":{"rendered":"Part-Time Administrative Staff Benefits"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Part-time administrative\nstaff are defined as working fewer than 30 hours per week for up to 50 weeks\nper year.&nbsp; Part-time staff are eligible\nfor the following limited number of benefit programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tax Sheltered Annuity Plan (403b) \u2013 employees receive a 3% contribution from the College to their tax sheltered annuity plan.\u00a0 Employees can contribute pre-tax from their paycheck up to the maximum allowed by the Internal Revenue Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paid Time Off (PTO) \u2013 Part-time employees who work at least 10 hours a week accrue 1 PTO day per month worked.&nbsp; Employees may carry over up to 1 PTO day per month worked each year.&nbsp; The PTO days that accrue are the same length as the employee\u2019s workday.&nbsp; For example, employees who work four hours a day will accrue one four-hour PTO day each month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuition Remission \u2013 Employees are eligible for a part-time tuition waiver.&nbsp; Part-time administrative staff must be regularly scheduled for a minimum of 20 hours per week and are eligible for up to a half-time tuition waiver. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Part-time administrative staff are defined as working fewer than 30 hours per week for up to 50 weeks per year.&nbsp; Part-time staff are eligible for the following limited number of benefit programs.
