COVID 19 Vaccination Requirement

CCS will require a COVID 19 vaccination record for all residential students prior to move in for the Fall 2021 semester.  CCS is strongly encouraging all commuting students and employees to be vaccinated against COVID 19 but will not require a vaccination record.

To complete the vaccination verification process for the fall semester, you will need to submit a photocopy of your vaccination card.

You may submit your verification by:

  1. Emailing a copy to
  2. Mailing a photocopy to Student Affairs, 201 E. Kirby, Detroit, MI 48202,
  3. Bring a photocopy to the Student Affairs Office in person prior to move in.   

Students that do not complete the verification process prior to Fall 2021 move-in dates may not be able to move-in to their campus residential space.

If you would like to file for an exemption for medical or religious/philosophical reasons, you should email Dan Long at for instructions.
