You can ask simple questions or collect important data via a poll. The poll responses can be exported for later use. You can create a poll during the Zoom meeting setup process, or you can create a poll once your Zoom meeting has started. You can even select a toggle switch to turn the poll into a quiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are various types of poll questions that can be created for your Zoom meeting. These question types include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Single choice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multiple choice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Matching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rank order<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Short answer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Long answer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the blank<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rating scale<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-poll-access-manager\">Creating a Poll When Setting Up a Zoom Meeting via the CCS Access Manager<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From the <a href=\"https:\/\/idp.collegeforcreativestudies.edu\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/idp.collegeforcreativestudies.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CCS Access Manager<\/a>, click on the <strong>Zoom<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If prompted, sign in to your Zoom account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Meetings<\/strong> on the left-hand side of the Zoom dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>+ Schedule a Meeting<\/strong> button on the right side of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the details of your Zoom meeting including date, start time, and duration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Save<\/strong> button at the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the next screen, a summary of your created meeting will appear. Click on the <strong>Polls\/Quizzes<\/strong> tab at the top of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>+ Create<\/strong> button to begin creating your poll question(s).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the details of your poll question.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>+ Add question<\/strong> button to add additional questions to your poll.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Save<\/strong> button in the upper right corner of the screen to save your poll.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The below video shows how to set up a meeting that includes a poll for use during a future meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Since the time of this recording, the location of where to create polls has slightly changed, though the overall process is the same. Follow the above steps to create a new poll for your Zoom meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/J39sAec8-44?si=4S_tFA91SzSbMp7s\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-poll-canvas\">Creating a Poll When Setting Up a Zoom Meeting via Canvas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In Course Navigation, click the <strong>Zoom<\/strong> link.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If <strong>Zoom<\/strong> is not visible on your course navigation, follow the steps in <a href=\"https:\/\/campus.collegeforcreativestudies.edu\/ed-tech\/streamlining-student-navigation\/#course-navigation\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"448\">Streamlining Student Navigation: Course Navigation<\/a> to enable it in your course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If this is your first time using Zoom via Canvas, you may be asked to authenticate\/confirm your CCS e-mail address. This is a one-time process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Schedule a New Meeting<\/strong> button at the top right corner of the Zoom interface.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the details of your Zoom meeting including date, start time, and duration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Save<\/strong> button at the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the next screen, a summary of your created meeting will appear. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, to <strong>Download a CSV Template<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the CSV file is saved to your computer, open up the file to create your own poll questions.
