Some use examples include (but are not limited to):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Chunk content:<\/strong> Keep page lengths short and manageable for you and your students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Organize FAQs:<\/strong> Create interactive Frequently Asked Questions sections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>List steps:<\/strong> Break down detailed instructions for graded assignments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background is-style-default\" style=\"background-color:#251c5c;color:#251c5c\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"#adding-an-accordion-expander-or-tabs-to-a-content-page\">Adding an Accordion, Expander, or Tabs to a Content Page<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#design-assistant-panel\">Design Assistant Panel<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#content-panel\">Content Panel<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#style-panel\">Style Panel<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#advanced-panel\">Advanced Panel<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#additional-resources\">Additional Resources<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"adding-an-accordion-expander-or-tabs-to-a-content-page\">Adding an Accordion, Expander, or Tabs to a Content Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While editing content in your Canvas course, launch the DesignPLUS Sidebar by clicking on the \ud83d\ude80 <strong>rocket ship icon<\/strong> at the top right corner of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alternatively, press <strong>Alt\/Option + Shift + D<\/strong> on your keyboard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Place your cursor in the RCE (Rich Content Editor) where you want to add the accordion, expander, or tabs interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the DesignPLUS Sidebar, click on the \u2795 <strong>Add New Elements<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the <strong>Accordion<\/strong>, <strong>Expander<\/strong>, or <strong>Tabs<\/strong> button (found under the <strong>Page Layout<\/strong>, <strong>Interactive<\/strong>, or <strong>Recently Used Tools<\/strong> headings).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alternatively, use the <strong>Search<\/strong> textbox to search for <strong>Accordion<\/strong>, <strong>Expander<\/strong>, or <strong>Tabs<\/strong>. DesignPLUS will show results in real-time. It uses AI (Artificial Intelligence) to generate content that can be inserted into accordions, expanders, and tabs layouts. An \u2728 <strong>AI Transparency<\/strong> link provides additional details and a link to <a href=\"https:\/\/support.cidilabs.com\/knowledgebase\/how-is-cidi-labs-approaching-the-use-of-ai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How is Cidi Labs approaching the use of AI?<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After adding an accordion, expander, or tabs layout to your content page, if you do not see the <strong>Design Assistant<\/strong> panel within the DesignPLUS Sidebar, you will need to <a href=\"https:\/\/campus.collegeforcreativestudies.edu\/ed-tech\/enable-beta-tools-in-designplus\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"6541\">enable beta tools in your Sidebar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These two side-by-side screenshots are taken from the DesignPLUS <strong>Accordion Builder<\/strong> section of the <strong>Design Assistant<\/strong>. Take care when using this option, as nesting content within content can get messy. Due to accessibility considerations, you may only nest panel groups one level deep.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unwrap Panels:<\/strong> Unwraps the accordion, expander, or tabs interface.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add active dates to panels (MM\/DD\/YYYY):<\/strong> Adds dates to your accordion, expander, or tabs layout in the RCE.
