Canvas allows you to “favorite” active<\/strong> courses so that they appear on your Dashboard and on your Courses<\/strong> global navigation menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- If no courses are “favorited”, then up to 20 of your courses will automatically show on your Canvas Dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Example:<\/strong> If you “favorite” five active courses, then only those five courses will appear on your Canvas Dashboard. All other courses will have to be accessed via the Courses<\/strong> >> All Courses<\/strong> screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Favoriting Canvas Courses via the All Courses Screen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

- In Global Navigation, click the Courses<\/strong> link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select All Courses<\/strong> from the fly-out menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- On the All Courses<\/strong> screen, active courses will be displayed near the top of the screen. Past Enrollments<\/strong> appears below them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In the left-hand Favorite<\/strong> column, click the star icon next to any active course to mark it as a “favorite”. The course will now be displayed on your Canvas Dashboard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

Unfavoriting a Course from the Canvas Dashboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
If you have “favorited” a course that you no longer want to see on your Canvas Dashboard, you can “unfavorite” that course directly from the Dashboard without having to go to your Courses<\/strong> >> All Courses<\/strong> screen. From the Canvas Dashboard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Click on the Options<\/strong> (three vertical dots) icon at the upper right corner of any course card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click the Move<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select \u2b50 Unfavorite<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
