Your students may ask you why they cannot see the totals of their assignments within the Canvas Gradebook. Students may see a screen similar to this with a crossed-out eye icon next to the assignment group name:<\/p>\n\n\n

If this applies to one or more of your Canvas courses, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. In Course Navigation, click the Settings<\/strong> link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Ensure that the Course Details<\/strong> tab is selected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Remove the checkmark next to Hide totals in student grades summary<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
