This beginning course is a semester long intensive,study into the development of pattern in both,ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Using forge,welding and diffusion, this course covers simple,layering processes to composites and mosaic,patterning methods. Throughout the semester each,student assembles a journal comprised of weekly,clay pattern experiments, and production notes.,Journals are then photocopied and compiled into,reference books of techniques and patterns.<\/p>
