,VISUAL STORYTELLING: 2D DESIGN & LAYOUT <\/B>,
,In this course, students will explore various,digital tools that focus on 2D graphic layout and,image manipulation. Through engaging various,reading investigation and in project-based,learning situations, students will develop an,understanding of Gestalt theory and its,application to visual elements such as,compositional space, balance, contrast, direction,,emphasis, pattern, and proportion. They will also,learn the basics of working with type and fonts to,create visual hierarchy, organization, and,effective messaging. Moreover, students will be,introduced to selected AI tools within the Adobe,Creative Suite that assist in image manipulation,and modification. Lastly, the course will provide,instruction on proper digital file management and,optimization techniques.<\/p>
